Summer Come and Gone / by Jonathan House

Summer is rather quickly leaving us this year in the Pacific Northwest, so fast it seems, that all of my intended (well, procrastinated) summer blogging will now have to happen as we transition to the fall. This is fine by me, as it gives me the opportunity to look back at one of the most memorable summers in a long time.

This is a shot of Oregon City pitcher Rilyn Lewchuck pitching against Thurston during his team's victory in Oregon's 6A State Championship game this year. In some ways it's a boilerplate shot for baseball coverage, but the angle's slightly different than what I normally get and the light was excellent, so it provided a bit of a morale boost during a long work day.
